The New Balance Flat Breeze is landing in Singapore on 20 October 2026, and it is the kind of shoe that sits neatly between a ballet flat and a sneaker. After a Korean launch where selected colourways reportedly sold out within minutes, the limited-edition pair arrives locally at S$129.

What is the New Balance Flat Breeze?
Developed in Korea with local fashion tastes in mind, the Flat Breeze takes the refined shape of a women’s flat and gives it New Balance’s sporty character. A soft upper wraps around the foot, while shoelaces and a band across the foot give the streamlined silhouette a sporty twist. Underfoot, a rubber outsole adds stability and comfort.

It is a useful reminder that the low-profile trend is still going strong. If you caught our earlier piece on trialling running shoes at New Balance Suntec City, you will know the brand has been working hard on in-store experiences too.

Colours, price and where to buy
The Flat Breeze comes in Red, Silver, Black and Mint for S$129, from 20 October at selected New Balance stores and online, while stocks last. Red and Silver will be available at New Balance Jewel Changi, VivoCity, Suntec City and ION Orchard. Black and Mint are exclusive to New Balance VivoCity.
Go bold in Red, add a flash of Silver, or keep things understated in Black or Mint. New Balance suggests styling the shoe with relaxed denim, tailored trousers or a skirt.

More ways to go low profile
The Flat Breeze also puts the spotlight on New Balance’s growing low-profile line-up, which draws on running heritage, sport and everyday style. Two names to know are the 204L and 204V.

The 204L is inspired by ’70s running silhouettes and the athletic edge of early-2000s performance footwear, with sleek proportions and understated detailing.

The 204V is a fresh take on retro running style. It pairs a sleek low-profile shape with ABZORB cushioning, mesh detailing and an alternative closure system.
