Two hotel buffet rooms have given their dinner spreads over to Halloween, and on 31 October itself both charge S$118++ an adult. Lime at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering runs its SubLIME Halloween buffet for 10 nights from 23 October, while The Line at Shangri-La Singapore holds a one-night Halloween dinner buffet on Saturday 31 October.

Both lay out seafood on ice with Boston lobster and snow crab, and both serve pork, so neither is halal. The real split is the calendar. Lime is the only one of the two with a weeknight price, and The Line is a Halloween-night booking or nothing.
Lime, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering
SubLIME Halloween runs daily from 23 October to 1 November, 6pm to 9.30pm, with last order at 9pm. Monday to Thursday is S$88++ an adult and S$44++ a child. Friday and Saturday is S$118++ and S$59++, and Sunday is S$108++ and S$54++. Coffee and tea are included.
The S$30 weekend premium buys specific dishes. A whole baby lamb from the barbecue, Nordic whole salmon, curry crab with mantou and a lobster bisque risotto finished in a Parmesan wheel are on Friday to Sunday only. Monday to Thursday gets a Bloody Mary lobster pasta in the Parmesan wheel instead.
The rest stays all week: black garlic-glazed beef short rib at the carving station, Josper-grilled pork ribs and sausages, a Peranakan corner with chef Alvin’s beef rendang, crab meat kueh pie tee and sambal stingray with okra, a Penang prawn noodle station and a chocolate fountain.
Children aged 6 to 12 pay the child price and children aged 5 and below eat free. Pan Pacific DISCOVERY members get up to 25 per cent off dining, and early bookings save up to 20 per cent. Lime is at 3 Upper Pickering Street, a short walk from Chinatown MRT station. Bookings are on WhatsApp at +65 9859 0681 or by phone at +65 3138 2251.
The Line, Shangri-La Singapore
A Wicked Feast is dinner on Saturday 31 October only, from 6pm to 9.30pm, at S$118++ an adult and S$59++ a child aged 6 to 11.

Alongside lobster, snow crab, sea prawns and sashimi, there is a black truffle mushroom beef Wellington and a bone-in lamb leg at the carving station, beef tongue with golden polenta, a seafood barbecue with grilled prawns and baked oyster mornay, an Arabic station with veal and chicken shawarma, and an Indian section with binchotan tandoori chicken and lamb biryani. Desserts include a Musang King durian cake.
Pork appears in the roast pork belly, the ma la pork intestine and the charcuterie.
The child band is the catch for families. A 12-year-old pays the child price at Lime but the adult price at The Line, so two adults and a 12-year-old on Halloween night pay S$295++ at Lime and S$354++ at The Line.
Shangri-La’s 40 per cent flash deal and Shangri-La Circle points redemption do not apply, though members still earn points. The Line is at Shangri-La Singapore, 22 Orange Grove Road, and takes bookings on (65) 6213 4398.
