Bedok Mall brings back its Step into More rewards from 15 October to 6 November: spend S$120 in a day at participating shops and get a S$10 eCapitaVoucher, or spend S$80 at participating restaurants and get S$5. CapitaLand’s terms for the mall cap the retail reward at the first 90 shoppers a day and the food reward at the first 60.
Both rewards are paid in eCapitaVouchers, which are valid for 90 days at CapitaLand malls.
How the spend has to be made
The rewards are for CapitaStar members, and the payment has to be on the CapitaStar app before you pay. Eligible methods are a Mastercard credit or debit card linked in the app, DBS or POSB cards and PayLah! with the CapitaStar account linked in PayLah!, ShopBack Pay, Kris+, or eCapitaVouchers already in the wallet.
Receipts can be added together, but only on the same day at Bedok Mall, and each transaction has to be at least S$20. Spends that register on the app before 10am do not qualify either.
Each member gets at most one S$10 and one S$5 voucher a day.
What does not count
Supermarket spending at FairPrice, Cold Storage and Giant is excluded. So are clinic and dental bills, cinema tickets and cinema snacks, gift cards and vouchers, bill payments at AXS machines, roadshow stalls and pushcarts, and orders paid through a restaurant’s own online or table-ordering system.
A transaction used here cannot also count for another CapitaLand promotion. The CapitaStar 15th birthday deals run to 31 October at the same malls.
Vouchers can take up to seven working days to land in the app.
Top spenders and the earlier run
The five biggest spenders across the 23 days each get 500,000 STAR$, and CapitaLand contacts them after the campaign ends.
Step into More first ran at Bedok Mall from 14 August to 13 September. The October run is the extension, with the same S$120 and S$80 thresholds.
Bedok Mall is at 311 New Upper Changi Road, next to Bedok MRT station and bus interchange.
