Apple on 9 September 2026 announced AirPods 5, bringing Active Noise Cancellation to every open-ear model in the line, with Singapore prices of S$199 and S$219 on apple.com/sg.
Pre-orders open at 9am SGT on Friday 11 September 2026. Retail availability starts on 18 September.
ANC is now standard
Both AirPods 5 options include open-ear Active Noise Cancellation. Apple says the new ANC removes up to 50 per cent more external noise than AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, with a more natural Transparency mode.
An all-new multiport acoustic architecture and next-generation Adaptive EQ handle the sound. Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness carry over. Live Translation works when paired with a compatible iPhone that has Apple Intelligence enabled.
Hands-free Siri AI on AirPods 5 can draw on personal context and broader world knowledge. Users can also reply to Siri with head gestures.
Wireless Charging Case variant
AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case add on-stem volume control and longer battery life. Apple says that model reaches up to five hours of listening with noise cancellation on, or up to 22 hours with the case. The case supports USB-C plus Apple Watch and Qi wireless charging.

On apple.com/sg, AirPods 5 are S$199. AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case are S$219.
Pre-orders and availability
Singapore pre-orders begin at 9am SGT on 11 September 2026 on the Apple Store. Availability begins on 18 September.
