FairPrice Group is doubling its CHAS Blue and Orange discount from 3 per cent to 6 per cent from 3 September 2026 to 1 January 2027. Blue cardholders get the 6 per cent on Thursdays. Orange cardholders get it on Fridays. The rate applies across FairPrice stores, FairPrice Online and Unity Pharmacy.
The enhanced rate still sits on a S$200 eligible-spend cap per customer per day. At 6 per cent, that is a maximum S$12 CHAS saving on the designated day, against S$6 at the usual 3 per cent. 3 September is a Thursday, so Blue cardholders are in the first eligible window.
What you actually pay
On a S$100 grocery basket that clears the exclusions, the CHAS cut is S$6 instead of S$3. On the full S$200 cap, it is S$12 instead of S$6. That is a real discount for cardholders who already shop on Thursday or Friday. It is nothing if the card is missing, if the day is wrong, or if the trolley is mostly excluded lines.
How the terms work
In store, present a physical or digital CHAS card at checkout. Online and app shoppers need MyInfo linked on the FairPrice Group app, with a last verified date on or after 22 May 2025, for the auto-applied discount. Unity outlets at Changi Airport are carved out of that auto-apply path.
Delivery orders on the card’s discount day get the S$3.99 service fee waived with a minimum spend of S$100. Orders under the S$59 delivery minimum still face the separate S$5 delivery fee. Link members still earn Linkpoints on the amount after discounts.
What is excluded
FairPrice’s terms keep Marketplace and direct-fulfilment items, infant formula for ages 0 to 12 months, tobacco, 4D and lottery products, gift cards and vouchers, carrier bags, consultation and delivery fees, donation bundles, and alcohol off the discount. CDC Supermarket Vouchers can still stack in store with the CHAS cut, but they do not work on FairPrice Online, Scan & Go or Smart Cart app trips that skip a self-checkout counter.
The 6 per cent CHAS Blue and Orange rate at FairPrice and Unity runs from 3 September 2026 to 1 January 2027 on the cardholders’ designated weekday.
