Singapore Night Festival 2026 is into its second and final weekend, and if you missed the opening, this is your last chance to catch Singapore’s largest nocturnal experience. Running from 21 August to 5 September, the 17th edition brings this year’s theme, Myths and Legends, to life across the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct. We shared our own night out at the festival earlier, and here is what is not to be missed this weekend.

Organised by HeritageSG, the festival transforms the city into a place where legends unfold through immersive artworks, projections and experiences inspired by the stories, folklore and traditions of Singapore and Southeast Asia. Two anchor highlights are Tales of Earth and Sea by The Fox, The Folks, and the MALAM Projection Mapping Competition.

Highlights not to miss this weekend
- Where Legends Take Flight: An aerial performance against the historic National Museum of Singapore, turning the night sky into a stage. Only on Friday and Saturday.
- Legends After Dark: A Festival Walking Tour: A curated after-dark walk through the festival’s artworks and installations, unpacking the myths behind them.
- Party on the Rise!: For two nights only at Canning Rise, make your own wayang kulit puppet, tuck into local delicacies, or get a tarot card reading.
- Horror Nights @ Oldham Theatre: Catch ROH (2019), a folk horror film about a mother and her two children tormented by human and spiritual entities.
- ALIGHT 2.0 Conference: The festival’s thought-leadership platform, connecting artists and creative practitioners on the intersection of art, technology and public space.

Beyond the marquee acts, expect Night Lights installations, immersive walking experiences, live performances, workshops by festival partners, and three festival villages spread across the precinct.

There is a giveaway too
