Common Rare Singapore 2026: Early Bird Tickets End Monday, Before 200 Indie Brands Take Over Suntec

Common Rare Singapore 2026 is bringing 200 independent brands to Suntec this September, and the cheapest way in disappears in four days. The Shanghai-founded creative market runs its first Singapore edition from 18 to 20 September at Suntec Convention Centre, with early bird tickets priced from $5 only until 31 August. After that, prices go up for the rest of the run. If you have been eyeing a lepak weekend of indie shopping instead of another mall crawl, this is the one to pencil in.

What Common Rare Singapore 2026 Actually Is

Common Rare was started in Shanghai by Tiffany Wang and Vivian Sze, two friends who met while studying there before heading to the US. Weekends spent browsing independent markets in California stuck with them, and they eventually brought the idea home. Over the past decade the pair have run markets and pop-ups across Shanghai and other Chinese cities, working with more than 3,500 small businesses and selling past 350,000 tickets.

Singapore is their first stop outside China. The debut edition brings over 100 overseas labels making their local first appearance, arriving from Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Bangkok, Bali and Kuala Lumpur, alongside homegrown Singapore names.

When And Where To Catch It

  • Dates: Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026
  • Hours: 12.30pm to 9pm daily
  • Venue: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 401 to 402, 1 Raffles Boulevard
  • Nearest MRT: Esplanade (CC3), 3-minute walk from Exit A; Promenade (CC4/DT15), 5-minute walk from Exit C; City Hall (EW13/NS25), 8 to 10 minutes via CityLink Mall and Esplanade Xchange
  • Bus services: 36, 97, 106, 111, 133, 502, 518 and 857 stop outside the centre

The whole thing is indoors, so it runs rain or shine. If you are coming for the whole weekend, the MRT beats fighting for parking at Suntec, though West Wing (Green Zone) parking is available if you are driving down.

Ticket Prices Before They Go Up On 1 September

This is the part worth acting on now. Early bird pricing runs from 27 June to 31 August, after which door-rate pricing kicks in for the rest of the event window.

  • Early bird (until 31 August): Single entry $5 on Friday, $7 on Saturday and Sunday. Bundle pass (admits 2) $9 on Friday, $11 on Saturday and Sunday.
  • From 1 September: Single entry $7 on Friday, $9 on Saturday and Sunday. Bundle pass $11 on Friday, $13 on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets give unlimited entry and re-entry on your chosen day, and come with an exclusive edition tote bag while stocks last. Children aged 12 and under get in free with a ticket-holding adult. Tickets are sold through Ticketmelon and Trip.com, and the organisers say all sales are final unless the event itself is cancelled or rescheduled.

What’s Actually Worth Queuing For

Beyond the sheer number of stalls, three things set this edition apart from the usual Suntec weekend bazaar.

  • Streething’s picks: Local creative studio Streething has picked more than 20 Southeast Asian fashion and lifestyle labels for the market, including Malaysia’s utility-driven streetwear label Futuremade Studio and gender-neutral slow-fashion brand Anaabu.
  • GREEN-HOUSE Remix: A dedicated sustainability corner featuring eco-conscious brands, recycled design and circular-living products, worth a look if you are trying to shop a bit more consciously.
  • Sundae Kids pop-up: Thai illustrator Sundae Kids is doing exclusive merchandise and live portrait-drawing sessions across the weekend.

Local names to watch out for include Scent Journer for mood-led fragrances, Rehyphen for goods upcycled from discarded cassette tapes, design boutique Studio Yono, analogue photography lab Hands On Film, and Talking Toes for socks printed with motivational phrases. Thailand’s Japfac is bringing clean geometric bags, and Indonesia’s Humblezing is showing utility-inspired outdoor wear.

Food, Workshops And Bringing The Dog

Coffee comes from PPP Coffee, Homeground Coffee Roasters, Morning and Smitten Coffee Roasters, with snacks from Hello Arigato and Berrybar. Outside food is allowed too, though the organisers are hoping you will try the vendors on site. Live performances and hands-on workshops, including tattoo sessions, run throughout the three days.

The market is pet-friendly, so well-behaved dogs on a leash or in a carrier are welcome. Photography is encouraged, though the organisers ask that you check with individual brands before photographing them or their setups up close.

If markets and weekend browsing are your thing, we also covered Night At Orchard’s last market weekend back in May, and if fairs in general are your scene, our NATAS Fair 2026 guide is worth a read too.

Common Rare Singapore 2026 is a one-off for now, with no confirmed word yet on whether it returns for a second edition. If the early bird pricing and the brand list have you convinced, get your ticket sorted before Monday. At $5 to $7 a pop, it is a cheap enough punt for a weekend that is meant to be shiok anyway.
