Häagen-Dazs At $8.33 A Pint: Every Ice Cream Deal Ending Tomorrow

Most of this week’s supermarket ice cream deals die at closing time tomorrow, 26 August 2026. We checked all four chains against their own flyers and product pages, and the gap between them on the same tub is genuinely silly.

Häagen-Dazs is the clearest example. Giant has it at $8.33 a pint. FairPrice and Cold Storage both work out to $13.75. Same ice cream, $5.42 apart.

Giant has the best price of the week

  • Häagen-Dazs 420ml to 473ml, any 3 for $25. Was $44.25, so you save $19.25, or 43 per cent. Ends 26 August.
  • King’s Potong Banana Chocolate 6 x 60ml, buy one get one free at $7.75 a box. Ends 26 August.

Neither needs a membership. Giant does note that availability varies from store to store, an exclusion list applies, and clearance items are out. CHAS cardholders also get 6 per cent off at all Giant stores until 28 August, which is a separate offer.

FairPrice, ending tomorrow

  • Häagen-Dazs Mini Cup 100ml, vanilla, Belgian chocolate or strawberry mochi: 3 for $9.90. Usual $16.86, so 41 per cent off.
  • Ben & Jerry’s pints 427 to 473ml: 2 for $20.90. Usual $15.18 each, so 31 per cent off.
  • New Zealand Natural Cookies & Cream 480ml: $7.35, down from $14.70. That is a straight 50 per cent, but Link and NTUC members only.
  • Magnolia Hershey’s Chocolate Overload Minis, 6-pack: $7.45, usual $11.20.
  • FairPrice Potong assorted, 10 x 65g: $4.55, usual $5.40.

Note the limit. FairPrice caps advertised offers at four units or sets per purchase unless stated otherwise, offers go live from 4am, and only selected items are available online.

FairPrice deals that run longer

The Dairy Delights catalogue runs to 2 September, so there is no rush on these:

  • Meiji Peach Oolong or Chestnut & Red Bean, 6-pack: 2 for $11.95, usual 2 for $16.50
  • Joyday Crunchy assorted, 5-pack: 2 for $10.95, usual 2 for $13.90
  • Udders assorted 474ml: $9.95 a tub, usual $11.87
  • Binggrae Melona 8-pack: $6.95, usual $8.65
  • Magnolia Hershey’s sticks, 3-pack: $7.45, usual $8.70

Two more worth knowing about. Niseko Vanilla 1L is $10.95 down from $15.95, a 31 per cent cut, running to 31 August. And FairPrice Potong 6-packs across nine flavours drop to $2.95 each until 3 September, which is the cheapest per-stick ice cream anywhere on this page.

Skip the FairPrice Häagen-Dazs pints at 2 for $27.50. Against a usual $14.77 each, that is barely 7 per cent off, and Giant is doing the same tubs at $8.33.

Cold Storage

  • Magnum assorted, 3 or 6-packs: any 2 for $16.10. Was $24.30, a 34 per cent cut. Ends 26 August.
  • Häagen-Dazs Chocoholic Moments tubs, 4 x 100ml: $16.90, down from $19.95
  • Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked 473ml: any 2 at $24.90
  • The Ice Cream & Cookie Co pints, gelato or sorbet 473ml: any 2 at $23.70
  • Wall’s Cornetto cones, 4-pack: any 2 at $10.70
  • Wall’s Solero Split Lime, 6-pack: any 3 at $17.90

Only the Magnum line carries a printed end date. The rest are live online promotions without published expiry, so they run until they do not. Cold Storage also excludes four outlets from advertised offers: Alocassia Apartments, Greenwood, HarbourFront Centre and Sentosa Cove. Delivery is free over $80.

Sheng Siong, briefly

One line, and we are not going to pad it out. Magnolia Ice Cream Tub assorted 1.4L at $5.30, running 21 August to 3 September. That is the only ice cream item in the current ad. Sheng Siong prints promo prices without usual prices, so there is no percentage to quote.

If you were planning to order online, do not bother. A search for ice cream on Sheng Siong’s online store returns zero products. Their ice cream is in-store only.

Everything dying tomorrow, in one list

  • Giant: Häagen-Dazs 3 for $25
  • Giant: King’s Potong buy one get one free
  • FairPrice: Häagen-Dazs mini cups 3 for $9.90
  • FairPrice: Ben & Jerry’s 2 for $20.90
  • FairPrice: NZ Natural at 50 per cent off, members only
  • FairPrice: Magnolia Hershey’s Minis at $7.45
  • FairPrice: Potong assorted 10-pack at $4.55
  • Cold Storage: Magnum 2 for $16.10

The shopping plan

  1. Giant for the Häagen-Dazs. Buy three, because the price only works at three.
  2. Cold Storage for the Magnum, if there is one on your way.
  3. FairPrice for the Potong at $2.95 a pack, which runs until 3 September anyway.
  4. Check your freezer has room before you commit to nine pints of anything.

Prices were checked against each retailer’s own flyers and product pages this morning. Stocks last as long as they last, and the good flavours never last.

Also on this week: the Pizza Hut $10 large pizza on takeaway today and tomorrow, and Luckin 1-for-1 on all coffee until Sunday.
