The Outdoor Fair runs on 15 and 16 August 2026 from 11am to 10pm at Suntec Singapore, Hall 404.
The organiser lists more than 80 brands and 21 product launches, so arrive with one equipment question, one experience priority and a fixed budget.
Set the visit facts
The organiser lists Saturday and Sunday, 15 and 16 August, 11am to 10pm, in Hall 404. Recheck immediately before leaving in case access changes. (The Outdoor Fair official site)
Eighty-plus brands make random browsing expensive in time and attention. Write the problem to solve, such as a hot-weather daypack or rain layer.
| Situation | What changes |
|---|---|
| Buying a fitted item | Bring the socks, pack or layer used with it and test movement |
| Comparing technical gear | Photograph model and specification cards, then decide after the first circuit |
| Interested mainly in an experience | Check session or queue rules before browsing |
| No defined need | Use the fair for education and leave purchases until the requirement is clear |
Use a two-pass route
On pass one, collect model, size, weight, warranty and price. On pass two, revisit only the best two candidates. Do not carry a large purchase through the entire hall before comparing. (Suntec Singapore visitor guide)
A pack, shoe or harness can feel different with the socks, insoles, layers or weight used outdoors. Ask what can be adjusted and what the return terms exclude.
Example: Two-hour plan: 20 minutes to map brands, 50 minutes for first-pass comparisons, 15 minutes to rest, 25 minutes to retest two finalists and 10 minutes to leave without a rushed purchase.
Treat launches as optional
A launch gives information, not proof that the new product suits the reader. Compare it with the current model and the actual use case.
Even an indoor fair involves walking, standing and queues. Schedule water, a seated break and an exit time.
- Write one gear problem
- Set a budget
- Save Hall 404 access
- Bring fitting accessories
- Record specifications on pass one
- Retest only finalists
- Leave time to think before buying
