OnePlus Nord 6 Launches in Singapore: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 7,500mAh Battery From S$590

OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Nord 6 in Singapore, and it is shaping up to be one of the most compelling mid-range smartphones of 2026. Priced from S$590, the Nord 6 packs flagship-grade hardware — including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and a massive 7,500mAh battery — into a sleek package that borrows its design language from the premium OnePlus 15.

Available now through the OnePlus Singapore online store, Shopee, Lazada, and carrier partners like M1 and Circles.Life, the Nord 6 arrives in two configurations: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. Colour options include Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 4: Flagship Power at a Mid-Range Price

At the heart of the OnePlus Nord 6 sits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. OnePlus claims an AnTuTu score of over 2.5 million — a figure that would have been unthinkable in the mid-range segment just a year ago. The chip supports Qualcomm’s AI Engine, enabling on-device AI features like real-time call translation, video summarisation, and Google Gemini integration.

For gamers, the Nord 6 promises steady 165 FPS gameplay in titles like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile for up to an hour straight, thanks to an advanced cooling system with over 33,000mm² of heat dissipation area. A dedicated Touch Reflex chip and six-axis gyroscope further enhance the gaming experience.

A Battery That Goes the Distance

The 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery is the standout specification here, and OnePlus claims it is the largest in its segment. The company quotes up to 22.9 hours of YouTube playback, 14.2 hours of Google Maps navigation, and 9.4 hours of PUBG gaming on a single charge. That translates to roughly 2.5 days of typical usage before you need to reach for the charger.

When it is time to top up, 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging gets you back up quickly — a five-minute charge reportedly delivers up to 2.5 hours of YouTube viewing. The Nord 6 also supports 6.5W reverse wired charging, handy for topping up your earbuds on the go. OnePlus’s Battery Health Engine technology promises the battery will retain over 80% capacity even after five years of daily charging.

Display: 165Hz Sunburst AMOLED

The 6.78-inch Sunburst AMOLED display features a 1.5K resolution (2,772 x 1,272 pixels) at 450 ppi, with a 165Hz refresh rate — a first in this segment, according to OnePlus. Peak brightness reaches 3,600 nits, while HDR content is displayed at a comfortable 1,800 nits. The 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate helps reduce eye strain during late-night scrolling.

OnePlus has also included Aqua Touch 2.0 technology, which allows the touchscreen to remain responsive even with wet or oily fingers — a practical feature in Singapore’s humid climate. The display is protected by Crystal Guard, a material OnePlus claims offers 300% better scratch resistance and 160% improved drop resistance compared to standard glass.

Camera System: Sony LYTIA Main Sensor with Dual-Axis OIS

The Nord 6 features a triple camera setup led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA-600 main sensor with dual-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS) and multi-focus autofocus. Supporting this is an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view, and a 32MP front-facing camera with a multi-focus sensor for sharp selfies and group shots.

Video capabilities include 4K recording at 60fps from the rear camera and 4K from the front. OnePlus has loaded the Nord 6 with AI-powered photography tools, including AI Portrait Glow for natural skin tones in low light, AI Eraser for removing unwanted objects, AI Perfect Shot for fixing closed eyes, and AI Unblur for rescuing blurry captures.

Built to Last: IP69K and Military-Grade Durability

The OnePlus Nord 6 boasts an impressive IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance rating — the highest available — meaning it can withstand everything from rain and submersion to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. It also meets the MIL-STD-810H military-grade standard for durability in extreme temperatures, salt corrosion, and impact.

On the software front, the Nord 6 runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16, with OnePlus committing to four Android OS updates and six years of security patches.
