Swatch x Audemars Piguet has landed in Singapore with Royal Pop, a new Bioceramic pocket-watch collection that turns Royal Oak design cues into a louder, more playful Swatch release.
The collection launched globally on 16 May and has eight models. In Singapore, OTTO ROSSO is priced at S$535, giving local watch fans a clear reference point before heading to selected Swatch stores.

What Royal Pop Is
Royal Pop is not a normal wristwatch collaboration. It is built as a pocket-watch-style accessory that can be worn around the neck, carried in a pocket, clipped to a bag or displayed with a stand. The watch design pulls from two very different archives: Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak and Swatch’s modular POP line from the 1980s.
That means the familiar octagonal form, eight hexagonal screws and tapisserie-style dial language are there, but the mood is deliberately less precious. The cases use Swatch’s Bioceramic material, while the collection’s Pop Art energy shows most clearly on the movement side.

The Eight Models
The launch lineup comprises OTTO ROSSO, HUIT BLANC, GREEN EIGHT, BLAUE ACHT, LAN BA, OTG ROZ, OCHO NEGRO and ORENJI HACHI. Each piece sits in one of two pocket-watch styles, Lépine or Savonnette, and each uses a new hand-wound version of Swatch’s SISTEM51 movement.
The movement has more than 90 hours of power reserve, an anti-magnetic Nivachron balance spring and factory laser-based precision adjustment. The front and back use sapphire crystals, so the watch is meant to be seen from both sides rather than treated as a flat novelty object.

Buying Notes For Singapore
The Royal Pop watches are sold through selected Swatch stores, with purchases limited to one watch per person, per store, per day. Swatch has also told fans that the collection will remain available for several months, which is useful context if a launch-day queue looks unrealistic.
Accessories sit on a separate track. Three lanyard lengths and other add-ons, including a removable stand, are part of the styling system, and those accessories are available online.

Audemars Piguet is also using the collaboration for a watchmaking-skills initiative. The Le Brassus brand will put 100% of its proceeds from Royal Pop towards preserving and transmitting watchmaking savoir-faire, with an emphasis on rare skills and younger horological talent.
