The Singapore Symphony Orchestra presents Vasily Petrenko and cellist Gautier Capuçon at Esplanade Concert Hall on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2026, both at 7.30pm, with tickets from S$10.50.
Esplanade lists the programme at about two hours and 10 minutes with one 20-minute interval. Standard seats run from S$15 to S$100; the S$10.50 entry sits in the limited students, NSFs, seniors and PWDs band.
Programme: Pärt, Saint-Saëns and Shostakovich
The Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir joins the orchestra for Arvo Pärt’s cantata Our Garden. Capuçon then plays Saint-Saëns’s Cello Concerto No. 1. After the interval, Petrenko conducts Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 4.
Admission is recommended for ages 7 and above. The concerts are separate from SSO’s Augustin Hadelich evenings later in September.
Ticket categories and Culture Pass
Standard prices are Cat 1 S$100, Cat 2 S$75, Cat 3 S$55, Cat 4 S$40, Cat 5 S$30 and Cat 6 S$15. Gold Friends Season Pass holders, donors, group or corporate bookings and SSG Family get 20 per cent off; Friends Season Pass holders get 10 per cent.
Esplanade marks the event as eligible for SG Culture Pass credits when buyers choose that payment option at checkout.

Both performances are at Esplanade Concert Hall, 1 Esplanade Drive, nearest Esplanade MRT. Tickets are on sale through Esplanade’s linked channels for the 18 and 19 September dates.
