Silver Support October quarter pays in the last week of September

CPF Board’s Silver Support schedule pays the October to December 2026 quarter in the last week of September for PayNow-NRIC and bank crediting, and on 30 September for GovCash.

Eligible Singapore Citizens aged 65 and above who already qualify receive the quarterly cash automatically. There is no fresh application for an existing recipient. The amounts on the CPF Board page run from $215 to $1,080 a quarter, depending on flat type and monthly per capita household income.

What arrives, and when

For the October to December eligibility period, CPF Board lists PayNow-NRIC or bank crediting in the last week of September, and GovCash on 30 September. Earlier quarters follow the same pattern: payment lands just before the quarter starts.

You start receiving payments in the quarter you turn 65. CPF Board assesses eligibility automatically each year and sends a notification letter in December to those who qualify for the following year.

Who the amounts apply to

On the CPF Board table, a senior in a 1- or 2-room flat with monthly per capita household income of $1,500 or less receives $1,080 a quarter. The same flat type at income above $1,500 up to $2,300 receives $540. A 3-room household in the lower income band receives $860; a 4-room household receives $650; a senior who lives in but does not own a 5-room flat receives $430.

Those figures sit against a lifetime-wage gate: total CPF contributions by age 55 of not more than $140,000. Self-employed persons and platform workers also need average annual net trade income of not more than $27,600 at ages 45 to 54. The senior must live in a 1- to 5-room HDB flat, and neither the senior nor the spouse may own a 5-room or larger HDB flat, private property or multiple properties. Monthly per capita household income must be up to $2,300.

ComCare Long-Term Assistance recipients aged 65 and above receive $430 a quarter regardless of flat type.

How the cash lands

CPF Board pays into a PayNow bank account linked to the NRIC first. If that is missing, it uses the bank account already registered for other government payments such as the GST Voucher or Workfare. Without either channel, the payment goes out as GovCash.
