Little India’s free outdoor concert series Sangeetham Under the Stars plays its second and final night on Saturday (31 October), from 8pm to 10pm at the Campbell Lane open stage. The series is run by festival organiser LISHA, the Little India Shop Owners and Heritage Association, and opened on 17 October.

What is on the bill
The programme mixes Carnatic classical music, fusion sessions and Bollywood numbers, and ends with a set from emerging artists. Entry is free, and LISHA asks visitors to register online. The stage sits by the Indian Heritage Centre on Campbell Lane.
Clay diya painting in the afternoon
Earlier the same day, a Clay Diya Painting session runs at Tekka Place from 2pm to 4pm. It is free with registration and capped at 30 people. Participants decorate terracotta lamps with acrylic paint, gilding paste and rhinestones, and learn the symbolism behind peacock, lotus and kolam patterns.

Spice blending masterclass
A Spice Blending Masterclass runs from 11am to 1pm, priced at S$8 a person for 20 places. A local chef shows participants how to make garam masala and sambar powder, and each takes home the blends, recipe cards and whole spices. The session ends with a tasting.

Festival Village and the light-up
The Deepavali Festival Village on Campbell Lane runs until 8 November from 7pm. The street light-up along Serangoon Road, switched on on 3 October, glows nightly from 7pm to midnight through the festival. The village is part of Deepavali Thiruvizha 2026, LISHA’s flagship cultural festival.

Big Bus festive tour
A Big Bus Deepavali Tour also runs on 31 October, with departures at 7pm and 8pm from Orchard Hotel Little India. The 45-minute ride loops through Little India to Racecourse Road and costs S$12 a person, including a S$5 food and drink voucher. The tours run every Saturday until 28 November.
