Republic Polytechnic’s October 2026 lifelong-learning intake is still open for applications until 30 September 2026. The window covers part-time diplomas, specialist diplomas and SkillsFuture Work-Study programmes on RP’s October intake page, last updated 14 September 2026.
Applications opened on 23 May 2026. If you are aiming for an October start, the remaining days are the close of the form, not a soft reminder.
What sits in the October basket
Specialist diplomas are one-year pathways for diploma or degree holders who want to deepen a field. October listings include Applied Generative Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Architecting and Management, Digital Business, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Healthy Ageing and Community Care for Seniors, among others on the same page.
Part-time diplomas run about 2 to 2.5 years outside office hours. Examples on the October board include Software Engineering, Accounting and Corporate Secretarial Practice, Digital Marketing and Branding, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Nutrition and Food Science.
Work-Study Post-Diploma and Work-Study Certificate tracks pair paid employment with the qualification. Several of the specialist fields above also appear as work-study variants for fresh polytechnic or ITE graduates.
Funding line to check before you click submit
Singaporeans aged 40 and above may offset selected course fees with the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up of S$4,000, and RP notes subsidies of up to 90 per cent on eligible courses. The exact out-of-pocket figure still depends on the course, citizenship and any prior SkillsFuture use.
