Polytechnic Early Admissions Exercise withdrawal for O-Level and ITE students runs to Friday 16 October 2026, 2359h on the EAE portal, for the AY2027 intake.
The withdrawal stage opened on Monday 14 September. Students who accepted a conditional EAE offer and want to drop it must submit the withdrawal online on the EAE portal before the 16 October deadline. Working adults still in the offer and acceptance window face the same 16 October 2359h cut-off.
What a kept offer means
Accepting an EAE offer locks in a conditional place if the student later meets the course minimum entry requirements. For O-Level holders that means a net ELR2B2 aggregate of 26 points or better, or 28 points for Nursing courses, plus the course MERs. For ITE upgraders, Higher Nitec needs a final net GPA of 2.5 or above (including CCA bonus points) and Nitec needs 3.5 or above. Nitec in Nursing holders need a GPA of 3.0 for the Diploma in Nursing. From the AY2027 intake, the MER for ITE upgraders rises from net GPA 2.0 to net GPA 2.5.
Missing the withdrawal deadline
Students who keep an accepted EAE offer past the withdrawal deadline cannot switch courses within or across polytechnics once their results confirm the place. They also cannot use the JAE (O-Level) or JPAE (ITE) pathways for that intake. The last application window closed on 1 July, so withdrawal, or for working adults offer acceptance, is the only step still open.
