ONE Ocean At Science Centre: Family Guide To The New Immersive Exhibition

ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples has opened at Science Centre Singapore, giving families a new marine-science outing built around immersive projection, free-roaming VR and hands-on moments. The Science Centre page says the exhibition opened on 30 May 2026 and uses 20 years of Tara Ocean Foundation scientific content.

Tickets are listed from S$13. The exhibition is useful for June plans because it gives children something more structured than a standard walk-through display, while still keeping the subject accessible: oceans, polar research, local marine heritage and what everyday actions do to marine ecosystems.

What Families Will See

The Science Centre describes a multi-zone environment using 2D and 3D animation, large-scale projections, interactive installations, spatial sound, tactile scenography and state-of-the-art free-roaming VR. In practice, that means families should plan for different pacing across zones rather than treating the exhibition as a quick photo stop.

Highlighted areas include Tara Polar Station, where visitors step inside a replica polar-station setting, and 7 Wonders of the Ocean, which uses panoramic 360-degree projections. The VR component may be the draw for older children, while younger children may do better with the tactile and projection zones.

How To Plan The Visit

Book ahead if the exhibition is the main purpose of the trip. Science Centre visits can stretch because families often add other galleries or nearby meals, so keep the day realistic if younger children still need naps or a quieter afternoon.
