Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Centre for Shaping Human-First Transformation, or SH1F+, is pairing with EY to help companies redesign jobs around AI adoption, with SkillsFuture Workforce Development Grant support of up to 70 per cent for SMEs and 50 per cent for non-SMEs, capped at S$150,000 per enterprise.
What SH1F+ offers
The centre, soft-launched with Senior Minister of State Janil Puthucheary present earlier in the season, packages advisory, capability building, technology adoption and workplace learning. NP frames the work as people-first transformation for roles that are changing as firms add AI tools, rather than a pure software rollout.
Funding route
Eligible organisations can tap the SkillsFuture Workforce Development Grant (Job Redesign+) scheme through the SH1F+ collaboration. The published support rates are up to 70 per cent for SMEs and 50 per cent for non-SMEs, with a S$150,000 cap per enterprise. Companies should confirm current grant rules on the SkillsFuture portal before budgeting a project.
