Millennium Hotels Reopens Renovated NYC Property: 50,000 Bonus Points for MyMillennium Members

Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) — the global hospitality group that is a subsidiary of Singapore-listed City Developments Limited (CDL) and Hong Leong Group — has officially reopened its Millennium Premier Hotel New York Times Square following a comprehensive renovation of all 124 guest rooms and public spaces.

The hotel officially reopened on 1 June 2026. For Singaporeans planning a trip to New York, or CDL watchers who follow the group’s international portfolio, here’s what’s new.

A Boutique Hotel, Fully Reimagined

The Millennium Premier positions itself as a quieter, more intimate alternative to the grand hotels that crowd Midtown Manhattan. With just 124 rooms and a location steps from Times Square, Broadway, Fifth Avenue and major subway lines, it offers prime access while maintaining a boutique character.

The renovation has refreshed every aspect of the guest experience. Guest rooms now feature floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the spaces with natural light, alongside new furniture, fixtures and finishes in a style that is sleek yet warm. Layouts are workspace-friendly, catering to both business and leisure travellers alike.

A New Kind of Arrival Experience

Perhaps the most notable change is at the lobby. The traditional front desk has been replaced entirely by a welcome lounge staffed by locally knowledgeable greeters who deliver a more personal arrival experience. The lobby lounge, fireplace lounge and Club Lounge have all been redesigned with connection and relaxation in mind.

The Club Lounge is expected to open in October 2026, adding another social space to the property. “Every aspect of the hotel has been thoughtfully redesigned to create a guest experience that is contemporary, welcoming, and distinctly personal,” said Vikram Sardana, General Manager.

The offer is valid for bookings made between 1 May and 31 August 2026, covering stays from 1 June to 30 September 2026. Bookings must be made via millenniumhotels.com, the MyMillennium app or directly with the hotel. Cancelled or shortened stays do not qualify.
