Crystal Jade’s Singapore and Hong Kong holding companies have been placed under receivership, with Kroll representatives appointed as receivers, and the restaurants remain open, the receivers said in a statement on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
The receivership covers Crystal Jade Culinary Concepts Holding Pte Ltd and Crystal Jade Culinary Concepts Holding (Great China) Limited, the holding companies for the group’s restaurant operations in Singapore and Hong Kong respectively. “Key members” of the management team continue to oversee restaurant operations.
The receivers are reviewing the group’s financial and operational affairs, including strategic options for its portfolio of brands, restaurants and businesses, to stabilise the business and preserve value. Stakeholders will be engaged regarding potential restructuring “as and when appropriate”.
