CIMB online SGD fixed deposits pay up to 1.85% p.a. until 30 September

CIMB Singapore’s online SGD fixed deposit promotion pays up to 1.85 per cent a year on 12-month placements from S$10,000 until 30 September 2026, with Personal Banking customers getting up to 1.80 per cent.

For online placements of S$10,000 and above, Personal Banking rates are 1.35 per cent for three months, 1.75 per cent for six or nine months, and 1.80 per cent for 12 months. Preferred Banking rates are 1.40 per cent, 1.80 per cent, 1.80 per cent and 1.85 per cent for the same tenors.

Minimum S$10,000, capped per placement

The Fast Fixed Deposit Promotion terms run from 21 September to 30 September 2026, or earlier if the bank ends them. Eligible personal and joint accounts need a minimum placement of S$10,000, subject to a maximum of S$1,000,000 per placement. Multiple placements in one account are allowed. Early exit does not keep the promotional rate; interest is payable only for each completed quarter.

How placement works

New online applicants open a CIMB FastSaver to fund the fixed deposit. Existing customers can place online. Rates can change without prior notice, and the contracted rate for an accepted placement holds until maturity unless early termination applies. When the deposit matures, it renews automatically for the same tenor at CIMB’s standard rate at that time, or a promotional rate if one is running, unless you give other instructions.

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation for up to S$100,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member.
