BAGFest 2026 is a new Books & Games Festival by Sing Lit Station and Origame. It runs across 27 and 28 June 2026 at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, with free entry and no registration required.
The useful thing about the concept is that it does not treat books and games as separate hobbies. The festival brings together reading, writing, tabletop design, storytelling and play in one weekend.
Dates, Time And Venue
- Dates: 27 and 28 June 2026.
- Time: 10am to 7pm.
- Venue: SCCC Multi-Purpose Hall, Level 7.
- Admission: free, no registration required.
- Event page: BAGFest 2026 at SCCC.
What Visitors Can Expect
The listing names independent publishers, writers, zine makers, board game designers, game demos, talks, performances and interactive activities. Visitors can browse books and games, meet creators and see how stories move between page, table and performance.
Festival-goers can also purchase a Read & Play Passport for special activities, rewards and festival experiences. That optional layer is worth watching if you want more structure than simply browsing booths.
Who Should Go
BAGFest is strongest for readers, tabletop gamers, zine fans, young creatives and families with older children who like trying demos. The no-registration format makes it easy to drop by, but popular demos may still draw queues.
Because it sits at SCCC, it can be paired with other CBD or Marina Bay plans rather than treated as a destination that consumes the whole day.
