Team entries for the ActiveSG Cup football tournament at Bedok Stadium close on 16 November 2026, at S$50 a team for the 8U, 10U and 12U Mixed categories and S$70 for 16U Boys. The water polo championships at Our Tampines Hub close sooner, on 10 November, at S$70 a team. Both close early if they fill, and neither offers refunds.
Sport Singapore runs the ActiveSG Cup as a youth competition series across several sports. These are the two November and December 2026 events still open for entries; volleyball closed on 19 October and the 3×3 basketball rounds are already under way.
ActiveSG Cup football: 30 November to 3 December
Each age group plays on its own day at Bedok Stadium, from 8am to 4pm, with 4 December held as a contingency date. Up to 224 teams can take part across the four categories, playing round-robin and knockout stages.
- 8U Mixed: born 2018 or 2019, Monday 30 November, S$50 a team
- 10U Mixed: born 2016 or 2017, Tuesday 1 December, S$50 a team
- 12U Mixed: born 2014 or 2015, Wednesday 2 December, S$50 a team
- 16U Boys: born 2010 to 2013, Thursday 3 December, S$70 a team
The mixed groups play five-a-side, with squads of five to eight players, and 16U Boys play seven-a-side with seven to 12 players. Every team needs one adult as team manager or coach. Rosters lock on 27 November, teams must arrive 60 minutes before their first match, and every player needs parental or guardian consent. The online team managers’ meeting is on 24 November at 7pm.
Water polo: 21 to 25 November at Our Tampines Hub
The ActiveSG Cup Water Polo National Championships run from 8am to 10pm daily at the Our Tampines Hub swimming pool, 1 Tampines Walk, and are sanctioned by Singapore Aquatics.
- 10U Mixed: born in 2016 or later
- 12U Mixed: born in 2014 or later
- 15U Boys: born in 2011 or later
- Women’s: minimum age 13, with up to five players over 21 on the roster
Teams carry seven to 15 players and play seven against seven. A category needs at least four teams to run, and the format is set once entries close. The fee is S$70 a team, and the team managers’ meeting is online on 16 November at 7pm.
Who can enter, and the small print
Both tournaments are open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and players living in Singapore on a Student Pass, Long Term Pass or Dependant’s Pass. Entry is by team through the ActiveSG Cup registration portal, and parents sign an indemnity form. No refunds are given in either sport, and the organisers mark all dates as subject to change.
What else is on the ActiveSG Cup calendar
The 3×3 basketball event has moved to Punggol Sport Centre’s Level 3 team sport hall for its remaining dates on 7 and 8 November, with Bukit Canberra Sport Hall set aside as the contingency venue on 14 and 15 November. Volleyball runs at Bukit Canberra from 23 to 29 November for teams already entered. The hockey rounds at Delta Hockey Pitch finish on 20 November; our piece on the ActiveSG hockey holiday programme covers the separate school holiday programme. The next editions of 3×3 basketball, volleyball and water polo are set for March 2027.
