DINO-A-LIVE’s live dinosaur show comes to Resorts World Sentosa from 3 to 6 December

DINO-A-LIVE’s DINOSAUR ODYSSEY brings 15 life-sized dinosaurs to Resorts World Sentosa from 3 to 6 December, with tickets from S$58, Resorts World Sentosa’s show guide shows. It is the Japanese production’s first large-scale indoor staging outside Japan.

The show

The 70-minute performance has no interval and no dialogue. The story moves through the prehistoric world with music, dance, lighting and projections, and builds to a fight between a Tyrannosaurus and a Triceratops.

The dinosaurs are mechanical suits, each worked by a trained performer, built by Japanese company ON-ART. They walk through the audience space rather than staying on a stage. Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Utahraptor and Allosaurus are in the line-up.

Bringing children

The show carries a General rating. Children born in 2023 or earlier need a ticket, while those born in 2024 or later enter free on a parent’s lap. Children aged 12 and below must be with an adult.

The large moving dinosaurs, loud sounds and dark stretches can unsettle very young children. Food and drinks, including water, are not allowed in the hall, and photos are allowed only during the closing curtain.
