Gardens by the Bay’s Mid-Autumn Festival keeps free lanterns lit from 6pm to 10pm through Sunday, 27 September 2026 across Golden Garden, Supertree Grove, Bayfront Plaza and Flower Dome.
Friday, 25 September is Mid-Autumn Festival day. This closing weekend is the last stretch of the 12 to 27 September run, so the lantern map, Craft Corner and Sunday finales sit in one household plan.
Where the lanterns sit
Fenbao’s trail threads Moonlit Garden and The Voyage at Golden Garden, Waterfall Fantasy and The Garden Celebration at Supertree Grove, plus The Dream Forest, the Colonnade of Lights (about 1,000 hand-painted lanterns) and Colourful Blossoms. Outdoor lantern zones are free.
The marketplace at Supertree Grove runs the same 6pm to 10pm window with food, carnival games and rides; charges apply there. Friends of the Gardens members get 10 per cent off marketplace spend and a S$3 discount for every S$30 at J’Kids Carnival Games.
Craft Corner Fri to Sun
Craft Corner returns at the Colonnade on Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September with self-guided craft activities and festive keepsakes. Fees apply for selected activities. Attraction ticket holders get a 1-for-1 on the standard activity fee; Friends of the Gardens members get 10 per cent off.
Sunday close: Flag Championship and Dragon Dance
On Sunday, 27 September, the Singapore Big Flag Championship runs 1pm to 7.30pm on Supertree Grove Lawn. The festival then closes with a Dragon Dance at 7.30pm on the same lawn.
Wet weather cancels performances. Only battery-operated lanterns are allowed; open flame is banned. Parking is limited, so Bayfront or Gardens by the Bay MRT is the safer arrival.
Flower Dome perk and Borealis timing
Singapore residents’ kids aged 12 and under enter Flower Dome free through 27 September (not for organised groups). Accompanying adults pay standard admission. Inside Flower Dome, Lilytopia and family activities continue on various timings to the same end date.
Borealis is rescheduled to 9pm to 9.15pm from 12 to 27 September for the Mid-Autumn period. Scan the contest QR beside lantern boards through 27 September for a chance at Fenbao merchandise.
