UOB 12-month SGD FD 1.70% p.a. fresh funds 23-30 Sep 2026

UOB is offering a promotional Singapore dollar 12-month fixed deposit rate of 1.70% p.a. on fresh funds from Tuesday, 23 September to Tuesday, 30 September 2026, on placements of at least S$10,000, under terms dated 23 September 2026.

The promotional rate applies only if the deposit is held to the full 12 months. Early or partial withdrawal means the promotional rate is not paid. Fresh funds, in UOB’s definition, are non-UOB cheques or money that is not transferred or recycled from an existing UOB current, savings or fixed deposit account during the window.

Minimum, maximum and renewals

Eligible placements sit between S$10,000 and S$999,999,999. Interest is calculated daily at 1.70% p.a. while the promotional terms hold. At maturity, principal and interest renew at UOB’s prevailing board rate for the same tenor unless the account holder has given other instructions.

SRS funds are excluded. Deposits that are pledged or secured do not get the promotional rate. Closing a newly opened SGD fixed deposit account within six months attracts a S$30 early account closure fee. Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation for up to S$100,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member.

The rate is fixed once the deposit is placed, even if UOB later changes or withdraws the promotion for new money. The booking window runs eight calendar days from 23 to 30 September 2026.

The promotional booking window closes on 30 September 2026.
