Mid-Autumn Family FUN at SCCC: 19-20 September free crafts and lantern walk

Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Chinese Orchestra present Mid-Autumn Family FUN on 19 and 20 September 2026 from 1pm to 9pm at SCCC and Singapore Conference Hall, with free crafts, performances and a mass lantern walk alongside ticketed workshops.

The free Activities Village runs rabbit-ear headband and cellophane-fan craft stations from 1pm to 7pm on both days. Performing Just For You! lines up storytelling, children’s showcases, dance and xiang sheng on the SCCC Concourse through the afternoon and early evening, also free.

Lantern walk and moon gazing

Mass Lantern Walk: Talking to the Moon starts registration at 7pm at Singapore Conference Hall on a first-come basis, capped at 80 participants each day, with a free lantern for each participant. The walk runs about 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Amazing Moongazing places telescopes on the SCCC Roof Garden from 7pm to 9pm on both evenings.

Ticketed slots and Culture Pass

Ticketed programmes include A Voyage of Voices: Moonbound on 19 September (3pm and 7.30pm sessions at SCO Concert Hall) and Makers’ Loft workshops such as Pastel Nagomi Art and Song-style tea whisking. Eligible Singapore Citizens can offset ticket costs for eligible programmes with SG Culture Pass credits.
