The Land Transport Authority will resume Electronic Road Pricing for the Orchard Cordon on weekdays from 7 September 2026 at S$1 per passenger car unit between 11am and 7pm, after congestion and below-optimal traffic speeds persisted since October 2025, LTA said on 31 August.

The weekday rate at the Orchard Cordon for the 11am to 7pm window moves from S$0.00 to S$1.00. LTA said the optimal speed range for arterial roads is 20km/h to 30km/h, and speeds in the shopping district have stayed below that band since October 2025.
