The Morganfield’s 1-for-1 Angus Ribeye deal is live at Suntec City until 30 August 2026, and the maths on it is unusually kind. Two Angus ribeye steaks for $42.90++, each served with French fries and a garden salad.
Split between two people that is roughly $21 a head before service charge and GST, for a steak with sides. In the CBD fringe, at a sit-down restaurant, that is a genuinely good number.

The bit that catches people out
Sixty minutes per table. That is not a suggestion, and it is the trade-off for the pricing.
An hour is enough for two people to order, eat and settle the bill without rushing, provided you know what you want before you sit down. It is not enough for a leisurely catch-up with drinks and dessert, so plan accordingly and do the chatting afterwards over coffee elsewhere.
Multiple sets can be ordered, which makes it workable for a group. Four people order two sets, six order three, and so on.
Suntec only, so check before you travel
This is a single-outlet promotion. Turning up at another Morganfield’s expecting the same price will not end well.
Suntec puts you a few minutes from Promenade and Esplanade MRT, so getting there is easy from most of the island. Peak dinner service on a Friday or Saturday will be the busiest window, and “while stocks last” tends to bite hardest then.
How to play it
- Call ahead to check availability, especially for a weekend evening
- Look at the menu before you arrive so the 60-minute clock is not spent deciding
- Go on a weekday if you can, since the deal ends on a Sunday and the last weekend will be busy
- Confirm the set is still available when you are seated, not after you have ordered drinks
- Remember the ++ is real money, so budget for service charge and GST on top
What to expect on the plate
Morganfield’s built its name on sticky bones and hickory BBQ rather than steak, so calibrate accordingly. This is a solid pub-style ribeye with decent char, not a dry-aged cut from a steakhouse charging four times the price.
At $21 a head, that is exactly the right expectation to hold. Order it medium rather than medium rare if you like a bit of crust, and the fries do the job.
