Corrections Policy

Little Big Red Dot corrects material factual errors as promptly and transparently as possible.

How To Request A Correction

Email [email protected] with the subject line Correction request. Include the article URL, the exact statement at issue, the proposed correction and a reliable supporting source.

What Happens Next

The assigned editor checks the published wording, available source material and any new evidence. Straightforward errors may be corrected immediately. Disputed or higher-risk matters may require additional documents, contact with the subject or review by a senior editor.

How Corrections Appear

  • Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not change meaning.
  • Material factual changes receive a dated correction or editor’s note explaining what changed.
  • Headlines, excerpts and social metadata are updated when the error appears there.
  • When an article cannot be made reliable, it may be withdrawn and its URL redirected or returned with an appropriate removal status.

We do not remove accurate reporting merely because it has become inconvenient. Removal may be considered for legal obligations, personal safety, privacy, serious source failure or other compelling public-interest reasons.
