Queic By Olivia Launches Ube Cheesecakes And Drinks At Jewel

Queic by Olivia has introduced a limited ube collection at its Jewel Changi Airport kiosk, led by two cheesecakes and two purple-hued drinks. The collection launched on 13 July 2026 and is available while stocks last.

The official listing treats ube as more than colouring: the cakes pair its earthy sweetness with salty cheese, coconut, mascarpone and almond textures.

The Two Cheesecakes

Ube Queso Basque Burnt Cheesecake combines an ube Basque base with savoury cheddar cream, drawing on Filipino ube queso ice cream. It is the richer, saltier choice for diners who enjoy the contrast between cheese and sweet yam.

Ube Cloud Cheesecake builds more layers: creamy ube cheesecake, ube mascarpone mousse, sweet cheddar cream and an almond crumble base. The mousse and crumble should make it feel lighter and more textural than a dense single-layer slice.

  • Ube Queso: Basque-style cake with cheddar cream.
  • Ube Cloud: cheesecake, mascarpone mousse and almond crumble.
  • Availability is limited by daily stock.

The Drinks

Ube Coconut Cloud blends coconut water with silky ube foam for the lighter tropical option. Ube Latte combines coffee and milk with ube sweetness, then finishes with ube foam.

Sweetness can compound when a drink and cake are ordered together. Sharing one cake or choosing the coconut-water drink may give a table a more balanced tasting flight.

  • Ube Coconut Cloud: coconut water and ube foam.
  • Ube Latte: coffee, milk and ube foam.
  • Launch date: 13 July 2026.

Finding The Jewel Kiosk

Queic is at #01-K218 in Jewel’s public area, so no boarding pass is needed. Airport and mall crowds can make evening stock unpredictable; visit earlier if one particular cake is the priority.

More new menus are in Little Big Red Dot’s Food & Drinks guides.

  • Location: Jewel Changi Airport #01-K218.
  • Collection: limited time, while stocks last.
  • Ask about whole-cake lead times separately from walk-in slices.
