Skyslides at Skypark Sentosa has two 44-metre rides, but they do not have the same entry rules or intensity. The Big Klook Slide accepts riders from 1.2 metres tall, while Skydrop requires at least 1.4 metres and has a 130kg maximum. Check every rider first, then choose the S$28 two-ride or S$33 three-ride package.
The official Skypark Sentosa Skyslides page lists the restrictions, waiver, medical and weather rules. Sentosa’s official attraction listing gives the current operating window of 11.30am to 7.30pm daily, with last registration at 7pm. Prices and operations can change, so treat the live booking page and the crew’s on-site decision as final.

Klook’s official launch information says visitors can mix and match Skydrop and The Big Klook Slide on arrival. That makes the package a choice of ride count, not a requirement to use each slide once. Availability and the operator’s safety call still control what happens on the day.
Choose the ride by eligibility first
| Question | Skydrop | The Big Klook Slide |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum height | 1.4m | 1.2m |
| Maximum weight | 130kg | No maximum is stated on the official slide page; confirm with the operator if fit is a concern |
| Ride style | A brief drop followed by a curved slide | A more gradual route with lighting and audiovisual elements |
| Best first choice | Eligible riders who actively want the sharper drop sensation | Eligible riders who want the less intense introduction |
This is a decision aid, not a medical or safety clearance. The operator says riders must complete a waiver and disclose conditions including pregnancy, heart conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy, recent surgery, previous spinal injuries and other relevant concerns. Contact the operator before buying if a condition may affect participation. The crew can refuse participation when safety is in doubt.
Work out whether the third ride is worth S$5
The two-ride package costs S$28, or S$14 per ride if both rides are used. The three-ride package costs S$33, or S$11 per ride. The third ride therefore costs an extra S$5 and lowers the average by S$3 per ride. These are LBRD calculations from the current published package prices.
| Group | Two rides each | Three rides each | Extra for third ride each |
|---|---|---|---|
| One rider | S$28 | S$33 | S$5 |
| Two riders | S$56 | S$66 | S$10 |
| Family of four | S$112 | S$132 | S$20 |
Choose three rides when everyone is eligible, wants a repeat and has enough time before last registration. Choose two when the group is testing its comfort level, has another booked attraction, or includes a rider who may use only The Big Klook Slide. A cheaper average is not a saving if the final ride goes unused.
A simple slide sequence for mixed-confidence groups
- Measure height before purchase. A child between 1.2m and 1.39m can use The Big Klook Slide but not Skydrop.
- Start with The Big Klook Slide. Use the first ride to assess comfort without assuming that a positive experience equals medical clearance for Skydrop.
- Choose the second ride deliberately. Eligible riders who want more intensity can move to Skydrop; others can repeat the gentler slide.
- Use the third ride only if it still adds value. Do not rush a reluctant child or adult merely because the package includes another turn.
The slides operate one person at a time. Adults should agree on where the group meets after each descent and who accompanies a child before anyone enters the queue. Under-18 riders need parent or legal guardian authorisation at registration.
Plan around weather and the 7pm registration cut-off
Skypark says Skyslides runs in dry weather and can stop for high winds, lightning, maintenance, safety protocols or airborne pollution above the stated threshold. A ticket does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. For an afternoon visit, check the forecast before travelling, keep another Sentosa activity as a fallback, and avoid arriving close to 7pm when a stoppage could remove the remaining operating window.
- Use Beach Station and continue towards Siloso Beach, or follow the current Sentosa transport directions.
- Wear clothing that complies with the crew’s safety instructions and secure loose items.
- Do not bring an unauthorised camera onto the ride; the operator says camera equipment must be certified and checked by its crew.
- Do not participate while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
- Ask about rescheduling before purchase if your visit date has little flexibility. The operator page states that cancellation requests must be made 48 hours in advance, while Sentosa says date changes must be made at least one day before the visit.
If the family is deciding whether outdoor conditions are suitable, use our WBGT family outdoor decision guide. It explains how to use heat-stress information without pretending that one reading guarantees comfort for every person.
Build a half-day Sentosa plan without overbooking
Allow time for registration, waiver completion, queuing and a weather interruption. A practical plan is to book one anchor attraction, keep Skyslides as the second paid activity, and leave a flexible beach or meal block. This is an LBRD planning suggestion, not an operator duration estimate.
For current island offers, compare our Sentosa SG61 deal guide. Check its validity dates before relying on any promotion. Skyslides should still stand on its own value; a separate deal should not push the group into a ride that fails its height, health or comfort test.
Bottom line
Measure first, select the slide second and buy the ride count last. The Big Klook Slide is the option for riders from 1.2 metres and for groups seeking a less intense start. Skydrop needs 1.4 metres, stays within the published 130kg maximum and suits riders who knowingly want the drop element. The S$33 package is good value only when the third ride will actually be used.
