Gardens By The Bay Meadow And Supertree Grove Areas To Close For Singapore Garden Festival Works

Visitors heading to Gardens by the Bay in the second half of June should plan around a fresh set of closures tied to Singapore Garden Festival 2026 preparations. The advisory on the Gardens by the Bay calendar lists The Meadow and sections around Colonnade and Supertree Grove Lawn as affected.

This is separate from attraction-specific notices and is most relevant for families, photographers and weekend visitors browsing things to do in Singapore before heading to Marina Bay.

Closure Windows

The Meadow is listed as closed from 15 June to 16 July 2026. Sections of Colonnade and Supertree Grove Lawn, from the Planet sculpture to Supertree Grove Lawn, are listed as closed from 22 June to 16 July 2026. These dates sit ahead of the Singapore Garden Festival period and affect ground movement through part of the Gardens.

Suggested Route

Gardens by the Bay is directing visitors to use Serene Garden as the alternative route to reach Supertree Grove, the Conservatories and Meadow Carpark. If you are meeting friends near Supertree Grove or booking a timed activity nearby, build in extra walking time because a familiar straight-line path may not be available.

Best For Visitors To Know

  • Check your route if you are entering from Bayfront or Marina Bay Sands.
  • Keep a flexible meeting point if your group is using different entrances.
  • Expect hoarding, diversions and reduced lawn access around the affected areas.
  • The advisory is about outdoor grounds access, so attraction ticket-holders should still check each attraction page for separate notices.

Who Should Adjust Plans

The closure is most likely to affect visitors who expect to cut across the Gardens for photos, evening shows or a quick route between Bayfront and the Conservatories. It is also relevant for parents with strollers, older visitors and groups who prefer predictable walking paths. The safer plan is to choose a meeting point outside the affected stretch, then move through Serene Garden if your final destination is Supertree Grove, Flower Dome, Cloud Forest or the Meadow Carpark. That small route change can prevent a lot of backtracking in humid weather.
