teamLab Future World at ArtScience Museum is the dependable Marina Bay Sands option for families who want an interactive exhibition rather than a look-but-don’t-touch gallery visit. The permanent exhibition is created with teamLab and is organised around two immersive realms: City in Nature and Exploring New Frontiers.

The appeal is obvious once children enter. Digital flowers respond, projected worlds shift, and the exhibition turns movement into part of the artwork. For parents, the useful point is that this is not only a photo stop. It gives children a way to move, point, draw, climb, slide and notice how digital art reacts.
What To Expect

ArtScience Museum describes Future World as a journey through art, science, magic and metaphor. That sounds broad, but the experience is simple enough for children: each room has a visual rule, and the fun comes from discovering what changes when people interact with it.
The exhibition is especially good for children who find quiet museums difficult. There is still a need for basic gallery manners, but the works are designed for participation. That makes the visit easier for families who want culture without asking children to whisper for an hour.
There are practical rules to note. ArtScience Museum states that strollers are not permitted inside Future World because of space and safety, with stroller parking available near the entrance. It also notes that guests must be at least 1.20m tall to enjoy Aerial Climbing through a Flock of Coloured Birds, and covered shoes are required for that artwork.
Tickets And Timing
Singapore resident tickets are listed from S$28 for adults and S$22 for concessions. Tourist tickets are listed from S$35 for adults and S$29 for concessions. As with most MBS attractions, check the official page for the current final price and any membership offers.

Future World works best when you do not rush. Children may want to repeat the same interactive room several times, and that is part of the point. If you are pairing it with another ArtScience Museum exhibition, put Future World first for younger children and the quieter exhibition after a break.
For a free film-based option in the same museum, our Bits & Bots ArtScience Cinema guide covers complimentary screenings of Robot Dreams and The Iron Giant.
