TOFU G opens at UE Square on 1 May with 500 free gelato cups and new Pomegranate flavour

Singapore’s first tofu gelato brand TOFU G is ready to delight a new neighbourhood of dessert lovers as it opens the doors of its newest outlet at UE Square on 1 May 2026. To mark the occasion, the brand will be giving away 500 complimentary cups of gelato on opening day and is debuting a vibrant new Pomegranate Tofu Gelato flavour that is exclusive to the UE Square outlet at launch.

For dessert lovers who have been queuing for the brand’s signature tofu-based gelato in Singapore and Malaysia’s TRX Mall, the UE Square debut is a welcome addition. Located at 81 Clemenceau Avenue, #01-19, Singapore 239917, the new outlet continues TOFU G’s expansion across the region while introducing a launch flavour that is purpose-built for Singapore’s tropical climate.

A new Pomegranate Tofu Gelato joins the line-up

Designed to complement the brand’s signature tofu-based gelato texture, the Pomegranate Gelato (석류 젤라또) is described as “lively, fruity and refreshing”, balancing sweet-tart pomegranate brightness with the smooth creaminess that has become TOFU G’s calling card. It joins a tightly curated line-up of vegan-friendly and dairy-free options including the original Vegan Tofu Gelato, Vegan Rich Chocolate, Vegan Black Sesame, Korean Sweet Potato and Pistachio – each priced at $8.

500 free gelato cups on opening day

To celebrate the UE Square opening, TOFU G is giving away 500 complimentary gelato cups on a first-come, first-served basis on 1 May 2026. Singaporeans who have been eyeing tofu-based desserts on Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu will want to head down early – the brand is well known for the queues that have built up at its existing branches.

From 2 May to 8 May 2026, the celebration continues with a Buy 1 Get 1 promotion: purchase one Pomegranate Gelato and enjoy a complimentary scoop in any flavour of choice. It is a thoughtful way to introduce the new flavour while encouraging guests to mix and match across the brand’s other tofu-forward favourites.

Why TOFU G has a cult following

TOFU G’s appeal goes beyond the novelty of tofu-based gelato. Each batch is freshly churned in-store, lending a smooth texture and rich flavour while creating a sensory dessert experience for guests. The brand bills itself as a high-protein, vegan-friendly indulgence – an attractive proposition for health-conscious dessert seekers who would rather not feel weighed down by a dairy bowl.

Inspired by Korean tofu-making traditions, the menu blends artisanal techniques with modern dessert innovation. The cafes themselves are designed in a minimalist Korean-inspired aesthetic – clean textures, warm tones and calming interiors that complement the brand’s mindful dessert philosophy.
