Jigger & Pony at No. 18

Jigger & Pony sits at the lobby level of the Amara Hotel at 165 Tanjong Pagar Road. Founders Indra Kantono and Guo Yi Gan have run it for 14 years, and the bar is known for its annual “menuzines”, the conceptual menus that regulars now collect.

The current menu is Bloom, with 21 cocktails built around the idea of growth. The list mixes bright, fruit-led drinks with savoury and earthy ones, plus pared-back takes on classics. Jigger & Pony is also No. 9 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026.

Nutmeg & Clove at No. 38

Nutmeg & Clove, at 8 Purvis Street, opened in 2014 under Colin Chia, who also co-founded Bangkok Bar Show. Its drinks start from Singapore’s history, culture and everyday language, and the current menu takes Singlish as its theme, with drinks built around expressions that turn up in everyday Singaporean conversation.

Tropical fruit, spices, herbs and tea run through the menu, set on classic cocktail structures. Nutmeg & Clove is No. 12 on the Asia list this year.
