Singapore Airlines has cancelled its Singapore to Dubai flights, SQ494 and SQ495, until 1 December 2026, and Scoot has cancelled its Singapore to Jeddah flights, TR796 and TR797, until 2 December.

Both cancellations stem from the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. Other SIA flights may also be affected while the situation remains fluid, and SIA’s Flight Status page carries the latest position on each flight.
Which flights are off, and until when
SQ494 is the Singapore Airlines departure from Singapore to Dubai, and SQ495 is the return from Dubai to Singapore. Both stay cancelled until 1 December 2026.
Scoot’s TR796 departs Singapore for Jeddah, and TR797 is the return from Jeddah. Both stay cancelled until 2 December 2026, a day later than the SIA Dubai flights.
The cancellation dates stand as of 12.30pm on 1 October for SIA and 10am on 30 September for Scoot.
Refunds for SIA passengers
Passengers holding a ticket on a cancelled SIA flight can seek a full refund of the unused portion of the ticket. Tickets bought directly from Singapore Airlines are refunded through the Assistance Request Form on singaporeair.com.
Tickets bought through a travel agent or a partner airline are handled by that agent or airline, not by SIA, and the refund request goes to them. SIA also asks customers to update their contact details through Manage Booking, or to subscribe to its mobile notification service, so that flight status changes reach them.
Refunds for Scoot passengers
As with SIA, Scoot bookings made through travel agents or partner airlines go back to that agent or purchasing airline, and Scoot asks customers to keep their contact details current through Manage My Booking or a mobile notification service.
Scoot customers on the cancelled TR796 and TR797 flights may request a full refund if they choose not to continue with their travel, and direct Scoot bookings are refunded by contacting Scoot by email.
