Singapore Airlines’ lifestyle rewards app Kris+ is paying eight miles for every S$1 spent at more than 65 partners in Singapore from 1 to 31 Oct, as part of a Birthday Bash marking the app’s sixth year. The upsized rate runs for the whole month, alongside Friday voucher drops and a daily in-app Gift Box.
Where the eight miles per S$1 applies
The partner list spans eight groups: Chinese, Japanese, Western and European, and local and South-east Asian restaurants, plus bakeries and cafés, grocers and specialty stores, fashion and lifestyle labels, and wellness and leisure brands. Partners include Cedele, Haidilao Hot Pot, TungLok Seafood, Man Fu Yuan, Krispy Kreme, Bee Cheng Hiang, Allbirds, ECCO and Rave Karaoke.
How the earn works
The miles are earned only on spending made through the Kris+ app. In store, users scan and pay in the app, using a Mastercard, Visa or American Express-issued card through Apple Pay or Google Pay, or with KrisPay miles. Miles from Kris+ purchases come on top of the rewards from the card used to pay.
Miles land in the Kris+ wallet as KrisPay miles. They can be used to offset later purchases in the app, or moved to a KrisFlyer account at one KrisPay mile to one KrisFlyer mile, within 21 days of being earned, for redemption on Singapore Airlines or Scoot flights.
Friday drops and the daily Gift Box
New vouchers at 50 per cent off or more go live in the app at 12pm on four Fridays: 2, 9, 16 and 23 Oct. Each drop is released in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Gift Box can be opened each day from 1 to 31 Oct for a guaranteed prize, either by tapping the banner on the Kris+ home screen or by scanning a Gift Box QR code at participating Birthday Bash partners. Prizes include rewards worth up to S$10, credited as KrisPay miles, and partner vouchers, which reach the Kris+ wallet within three business days.
KrisPay miles won from the Gift Box are valid for six months from the date they are credited. They can only be spent in the Kris+ app and cannot be transferred to KrisFlyer.
In Australia, Kris+ users earn 10 miles per AU$1 during October at more than 300 outlets in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as at selected online partners.
