LASALLE College of the Arts opens applications for its August 2027 diploma and BA (Hons) intake on Thursday 1 October, and most programmes close on Sunday 1 November 2026. Outcomes are due by Wednesday 23 December 2026.
Later deadlines for music and art therapy
Three programmes run on a different clock. BA (Hons) Music applicants have until Sunday 28 February 2027, with outcomes by Tuesday 20 April 2027. Diploma in Music applicants share the 28 February deadline but hear back sooner, by Friday 2 April 2027. MA Art Therapy closes on Sunday 31 January 2027, with outcomes by Friday 19 March 2027.
Outcome dates may shift, and further application windows may open if seats remain. The semester starts in August 2027.
Where the dates meet exam results
Local BA (Hons) applicants are on a later timeline. Shortlisted local applicants will be contacted for interviews from February 2027, and their outcomes will be released progressively from April 2027. Common entry qualifications are an A-Level with at least a pass in two H2 subjects and General Paper, a local polytechnic diploma or an IB Diploma. The 2026 A-Level results are due tentatively between Friday 19 and Tuesday 23 February 2027.
Among the common entry qualifications for Singapore diploma applicants is an O-Level pass in English at C6 or better with an aggregate of 25 points or better in four other subjects. Full-time Nitec and Higher Nitec holders can also apply. The 2026 O-Level results are due tentatively between Wednesday 13 and Friday 15 January 2027, after both the 1 November deadline and the 23 December outcome date. LASALLE’s route for graduating O-Level students to get a conditional offer before final grades was its Early Admissions Exercise, which ran from 1 to 22 May 2026 for the August 2027 intake.
From the 2028 intake, the equivalent requirement for the new Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) is English at G3 with C6 or better, and an aggregate of 21 points or better in four other subjects, one of which can be taken at G2.
What goes into an application
Applicants submit an online application, pay the application fee and upload the documents on LASALLE’s checklist. The admissions division then schedules an audition or interview where the programme requires one, and the outcome arrives by email.
Design diploma portfolios should hold 10 individually produced images in a single PDF of no more than 120MB, and work made without AI tools is preferred. Diploma in Dance applicants prepare a self-choreographed solo of one to three minutes. BA (Hons) Animation Art asks for 10 to 15 pieces of original work, followed by an online interview for shortlisted applicants.
