Ambiguous Dance Company brings its free Hip Joseon show FEVER to Singapore tonight, Friday 25 September 2026, at 7pm at *SCAPE Outdoor Plaza, Level 1, then moves to Esplanade’s DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre on Saturday and Sunday as part of Crossing Borders 2026.
The Seoul company mixes traditional Korean music with techno, and court-style looks with contemporary dance. FEVER is Korea’s entry in Esplanade’s Crossing Borders 2026.
Hip Joseon is the company’s shorthand for that collision: Joseon-era movement language under a club pulse.
Tonight at *SCAPE
Friday’s interactive performance starts at 7pm. Walk-ins can watch subject to capacity; no dance experience is needed. An optional workshop needs advance registration on *SCAPE’s form and fills first-come, first-served. Choreographers guide workshop participants through the moves step by step.
A K-Sool booth introducing Korean traditional spirits opens at 6.30pm beside the plaza. *SCAPE is at 2 Orchard Link, a short walk from Somerset MRT.
Saturday and Sunday at Esplanade
FEVER shifts to the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre with Marina Bay behind the stage. Shows are on Saturday 26 September at 9pm and Sunday 27 September at 8.15pm. Both nights are free. Esplanade MRT is the direct stop for the outdoor theatre. Outdoor shows can move, delay or adjust if it rains; Esplanade updates changes on its channels and deploys ushers on site.
Crossing Borders 2026 runs at Esplanade from 1 to 30 September.
