Republic Polytechnic’s October 2026 intake closes on Wednesday, 30 September 2026 for part-time Diplomas, Specialist Diplomas and Work-Study Programmes. Applications have been open since 23 May 2026.
RP’s lifelong-learning page, last updated 14 September 2026, is the list that matters this week. Mid-career applicants aged 40 and above can put the S$4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up toward selected courses that carry subsidies of up to 90 per cent.
Three AI specialist diplomas still on the board
Among the Specialist Diplomas still open for October, three Infocomm and EdTech titles sit squarely on the AI track and each run for one year:
- Specialist Diploma in Applied Generative Artificial Intelligence: aimed at IT practitioners who want to broaden or deepen generative AI implementation skills.
- Specialist Diploma in Business Analytics with Agentic AI: covers data analytics, generative AI and agentic AI for workflow automation and business decisions.
- Specialist Diploma in EdTech Design with AI: trains participants to design technology-enhanced learning with AI for training, adult education and EdTech roles.
What the 30 September cut-off covers
The 30 September cut-off is for the part-time Diploma, Specialist Diploma and Work-Study streams for the October intake. Specialist Diplomas are pitched at diploma or degree holders who already have foundational knowledge; part-time Diplomas at working adults and career switchers; Work-Study at early-career or switching applicants who want paid employment with structured training.
Course fees, exact subsidy bands and class schedules sit on each programme page linked from the intake hub. The Mid-Career S$4,000 SkillsFuture Credit top-up applies to mid-career applicants aged 40 and above on selected subsidised courses.
