Elijah Pies opens Joo Chiat flagship at 72 Joo Chiat Place with souffle and pizza pies

Elijah Pies opened its Joo Chiat flagship at 72 Joo Chiat Place on 12 September 2026, adding a 60-seat shophouse cafe to the brand’s Tanjong Pagar dine-in shop and King George’s Avenue baking studio.

Founders Limin Wong and Elijah Tan, both 36, built the brand from a 2014 home bakery into an Instagram-led pie shop. The new East outlet is the larger of the two dine-in spaces, with an open kitchen, a 10-seat family table with a lazy Susan, a private room under a skylight, and pet-friendly outdoor seating.

Joo Chiat exclusives and published prices

The flagship dine-in special is Elijah’s Souffle Pie at S$18, baked to order with about a 20-minute wait: gianduja souffle over almond joconde and hazelnut praline. Pizza pies with a laminated croissant crust run S$22 to S$24 for Garlic Ebi, Ruffles, Cheeseburger and Truffle Croque. Kaya Toffee Pie is S$9.

Mocktails are listed from S$12 to S$13, including a sparkling white-tea drink and a mango-grapefruit Rolly Lolly. Petissier doggie pies in Wild Berry Lavender and Matchamisu are S$9, and the outdoor corner has a water tap for dogs.

Hours

Opening hours are 10am to 10pm daily. Nearest MRT is Eunos. Free babyccinos and housemade cheese crisps for young children are part of the family pitch Wong described to CNA Lifestyle ahead of opening.

Tanjong Pagar remains the CBD lunch address; Joo Chiat is the evening and weekend room. The kaya toffee pie is also headed to Tanjong Pagar later. The souffle and pizza pies stay Joo Chiat exclusives for now.

Opening gifts of mini charm bags with two mini pies need a minimum spend of S$40 plus a drink, while stocks last.
