Soup Restaurant is marking 35 years with 35 per cent off its Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken from Monday 14 to Friday 18 September 2026, weekdays only, for dine-in while stocks last.
What the birthday deal covers
The brand homepage puts the cut on the Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken plate: steamed chicken with ginger sauce, the dish the chain has built its Chinatown-heritage menu around since 1991. The offer runs five weekdays only. Weekend sittings sit outside the window.
Prices still take the usual 10 per cent service charge and GST. The published terms say the promotion is not valid with other promotions, discount vouchers or discount cards. Stocks are limited, so popular dinner slots may clear the dish earlier than the Friday end date.
The official T&Cs on the promotions page do not spell out a portion size lock or a one-per-table cap. What they do state is dine-in, weekdays, while stocks last, plus the service charge, GST and non-stacking rules above.
How to use it
It is dine-in only. Takeaway and delivery do not sit under this birthday line. Soup Restaurant lists outlets across malls such as Clementi Mall, NEX, Suntec City, The Star Vista, Jewel Changi and VivoCity on its site. Check the outlet you want before you go, as renovation notes on brand contact channels have flagged temporary closures at some kitchens.
If you already hold an OCBC card promo, a voucher or another weekday discount at the same table, the birthday terms say those do not stack. Pick one path at the bill. Reservations run through the brand’s Oddle booking link on the reservation page if you want a timed slot for the ginger chicken.
Why the plate matters
On the signatures page the kitchen describes Samsui Ginger Chicken as steamed chicken finished with ginger sauce, often wrapped in lettuce. That is the SKU the 35 per cent applies to for this stretch, not the full a la carte list or the separate sauce retail packs.
Other weekday time-based discounts on the same site (early bird and teatime cuts at named outlets) are separate programmes with their own clocks. This birthday line is the flat 35 per cent on the signature chicken from 14 to 18 September only.
Bring the birthday dates into the booking note if you reserve: Monday 14 through Friday 18 September 2026. A Saturday or Sunday visit will not unlock the 35 per cent on this plate under the published weekday rule.
The window closes after service on Friday 18 September 2026. After that, the dish returns to the regular menu price.
