Voyage Beyond: Reimagining Maritime Singapore is the new MPA30 travelling exhibition. Admission is free, and the official schedule takes it through community locations rather than keeping it in one museum hall.
The exhibition starts with Singapore’s maritime heritage, moves into today’s port and then looks at technology, decarbonisation and careers. For readers, the important point is that the stops are spread across malls, a library and transport nodes.
That roaming format makes it more accessible than a fixed industry exhibition. Families can use it as a short mall or library stop, while students can treat it as a quick primer on maritime careers.
What Is Inside The Exhibition
MPA says visitors can see rare artefacts from shipwrecks, some dating back to the 14th century, and explore interactive exhibits on maritime operations and future technologies. Career talks and learning journeys are also part of the programme at selected stops.
The exhibition also asks visitors to share aspirations for the future of Maritime Singapore through QR codes, with feedback feeding into the Maritime Singapore Master Plan.
