I am Wilber and I love cars. I cannot wait for the Singapore Motorshow and it is finally back. This is an annual show which was affected by the covid pandemic but it is finally back. It is located at Suntec Convention Centre level 4 from the 11 to 14 January. You can book your tickets at Sistic or purchase them at the venue itself. I am kiasu and therefore I booked the tickets from Sistic ahead of the show.
Another way to show my kiasu-ness was the fact that I was one of the first few visitors to the Motorshow. I must be the one to “see finish” everything before the rest of Singapore.
I hope I win the lucky draw. After watching Russ Swift Stunt Show, I think I want to get the Subaru Crosstrek e-Boxer Hybrid to do some stunts. Actually a Nissan Kicks e-Power Premium will do also, as long as I win!
Check out this video which I compiled after walking around for 4 hours with another 4 hours of editing thereafter. Thank you very much for your support!
Wow! Mercedes Benz EQG!
I drove this Ora Good Cat in Thailand before. I rented it for my trip up to Khao Yai. This is a nice car to drive. The only problem is… It can’t fit my big luggage in the boot.
Now there’s a bigger version. But I think my luggage still can’t fit it because of the design.
Aannyeonghaseyo! I feel as if I’m in Korea, with all these beautiful Korean cars in front of me.
Hyundai cars have come a long way to be somewhat almost on par with Japanese cars in terms of design and drive. Just take a look at this Ioniq 6!
The newly launched Kona SUV!
Made in Singapore Ioniq 5! I love the spacious interior!
Another Korean brand, Kia. Really impressive new cars!
This Toyota 86 looks very pretty. I swear I was looking at the car…
This is the newly launched Lexus LBX! Ladies will love this car!
Things were looking lovely at the Lexus booth.
My dream of being driven around in this car… Like a boss!
I think most Singaporeans would not be familiar with this new brand, Omoda by Chery. They do make very futuristic-looking cars. The pastel green or light blue looks good in my opinion.
Honda would definitely be present. It is one of the most popular brands in Singapore.
There was a stunt show by Russ Swift. This guy is still at it. I believe he has been doing the stunt show for over a decade. He was already running these shows since around 2015.
Don’t worry, no one got hurt. The stunts were generally the same as a few years ago.
Now back to the cars…
The new Nissan Serena is on show and I must say the grill is simple yet aggressive looking. This car looks fierce.
Ariya is an EV car by Nissan!
Nissan cars have this distinct look. I must say the aggressive look is a huge draw.
Minis are cool. Nuff said. They are getting larger and chunkier though.
My colleague Willie was trying to take a good photo of this model. I was trying to get him to focus on taking photos of the cars on show. To other participants, do not be too excited… keep focused. We are here for the cars.
Car enthusiasts, this event is perfect for you. This year’s theme or focus seems to be on Electric Vehicles. There seems to be a large number of EV vehicles!
Oh, the popular BYD is not in Singapore Motorshow but they are at Suntec Atrium! Don’t miss it!
Here’s a bonus for you because you read till the end!
Other photos of the cars on show. For some reason… there is often a lady standing next to the car. I was focusing on the cars! For real!
It just does not feel the same with a guy standing next to the car.
Make your way down to the Singapore Motorshow 2024!
