I am Wilber and I love aeroplanes. Well, maybe not as much as I love cars. I love everything fast except my resting heart rate (I am currently on a health and fitness plan and working on this. I participated in the HELIOS Health for Life study and learned that I must work on my health. Anyone interested in participating in the study can go to https://www.healthforlife.sg/).
So planes… They are fast. And good looking too. It is currently held at the Changi Exhibition Centre. To be exact, 9 Aviation Park Road, Singapore 498760. There is both a trade fair as well as the airshow being open to the public. I went for the trade fair side of things on the 20th of February. Had some clients that participated and therefore went along. If I strike Toto (must be the top prize) a few times in a row, I can maybe afford a small plane.
Anyway, this exhibition is in the open. As in it is under the sun. So if you think that you want to enjoy some air-con and see some planes, this is not for you. I even struggled to find a place to park such that I could attend this event.

Actually, the skies were perfect. My colleague Kevin took wonderful photos.
Our RSAF planes received the most interest. Perhaps it is because we could get up close and person and even enter the cockpit.
Well, you would expect to see the US here as well right?

Actually, last time I was in the police force for national service. Maybe I could have been a fighter pilot in my younger days. We will never know… Maybe I will also love RSAF.

Oh have one more thing. There was the crowd favourite. The flying displays!
This one quite fierce. Tailgating at high speeds and no issues. I tailgate a bit only my car kiss the backside of the car in front…
If you want a preview of the National Day parade, you can come and take a look at the flying displays. It is really quite good. I mean if you are not actually going to buy a plane then the highlight of your trip to the Singapore Airshow should be the flying displays.

21st and 22nd Feb: 11:30am to 1225pm
24th and 25th Feb: 11:30am to 1215pm and 2:30pm to 315pm
