Get ready for the National Museum of Singapore’s largest-ever National Day celebration, running from July 18 to August 9. The museum will offer a variety of interactive experiences that look back at Singapore’s past and imagine its future, including a full day of special events across all four floors on National Day itself.
Starting July 18, explore “Stories of Singapore: Building Our Heritage Brick by Brick,” a vibrant display featuring a huge LEGO diorama of famous Singaporean landmarks. This exhibit, presented with The LEGO Group and in partnership with CDAC and MJD Pro Group, lets you get creative with digital coloring, a hands-on LEGO building activity, and even contribute to a record-breaking LEGO mural.
In the evenings, don’t miss the spectacular return of the National Day Light-Up, “Canvas of Light: Our Nation’s Journey,” as the museum’s facade transforms with stunning light art. This refreshed visual experience will tell Singapore’s story, celebrating the nation’s strength and togetherness.
On August 9, enjoy a day packed with activities across all four museum levels, inspired by the 1987 National Day song, “We Are Singapore.” Expect exciting heritage hunts, themed crafting, and more. To top it all off, families can gather on the Front Lawn for a relaxed picnic under the stars and a live screening of the National Day Parade 2025 starting at 5:30 PM.
Admission to the “Stories of Singapore: Building Our Heritage, Brick by Brick” showcase is free. Plus, all visitors will receive free admission to the National Museum on August 9, 2025.
