Seng Huat Duck Rice. Saw this stall when I stopped by Sembawang Hills Food Center today. This was the only stall with a queue, something special must be going on here.
In fact, when I did a quick scan of the tables, seems like 80% of the patrons are having braised duck rice.
Ordered braised duck for one. I also requested to add duck organs and one braised egg. They also do serve porridge as well.
Paid $6 for the meal. Portion size is reasonable to me.
The braised duck meat is tender. The sauce has a herbal taste to it. Overall, the sauce is very tasty and is not too salty. Left me wanting more as I finished the last piece of duck meat.
Amazingly, the couple manning the stall are not slow in serving. Yet the queue is perpetual, all the way till they sell out at about 1pm.
It’s definitely worth a visit and I will want to come back here again.
My verdict:
