This April, One Punggol is bringing residents and families together with a vibrant series of community-led programmes celebrating culture, connection and learning. From festive gatherings to cultural showcases and hands-on educational activities, there’s something for everyone at this integrated community hub in the heart of Punggol.
Here’s what’s happening at One Punggol this month:
Hari Raya Celebration at One Punggol
Date: Saturday, 11 April 2026
Time: 4pm – 8pm
Venue: Celebration Square (Zone 1), One Punggol
Admission: Free for All
Kicking off the month’s festivities, the Hari Raya Celebration at One Punggol will transform Celebration Square into a welcoming space for residents to gather and celebrate. Anchored in the spirit of togetherness, the event offers an opportunity for families and neighbours to reconnect and share in the joy and traditions of Hari Raya in a communal setting.
FGS National Calligraphy Competition
Date: Saturday, 18 April 2026
Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm
Venue: Celebration Square Zones 1 and 2, and The Plaza, One Punggol
Admission: Free
Building on the theme of cultural appreciation, One Punggol will host the FGS National Calligraphy Competition. Bringing together participants and enthusiasts from across Singapore, the competition highlights the discipline and artistry of traditional calligraphy, while offering visitors a chance to engage with a cultural practice that continues to resonate across generations.
Ready, Set, Learn Roadshow
Date: 25 – 26 April 2026
Venue: Celebration Square Zones 1 and 2, and The Plaza, One Punggol
Admission: Free
Rounding off the month, the Ready, Set, Learn Roadshow introduces an interactive and family-friendly learning environment. Organised in partnership with MENDAKI, this two-day roadshow features a dynamic mix of stage performances, educational workshops and interactive booths designed to support children and families in their learning journeys.
Highlights include engaging performances such as “The Popular Banana!” by Mini Monsters and storytelling sessions by M3 and Ungu Pen, alongside hands-on workshops covering sensory play, building activities and a DSA-focused learning workshop for older students.
Parents and caregivers can look forward to meaningful conversations through fireside chats on supporting children with special needs and preparing them for the future, as well as a mental health literacy talk by the Singapore Children’s Society.

- 2.00pm – 4.00pm: Talks & Workshops – Fireside chat on supporting families with children with special needs; Build Together workshop (ages 5–12)
- 4.00pm – 5.30pm: Talks & Storytelling – Mental Health Literacy Talk by Singapore Children’s Society; Storytelling: “Oyen, The Cat Downstairs” (ages 4–9)
