Artbox Camp 2026: I Went So You’d Know What to Expect (and What to Eat)

I’ve been to Artbox three years running now, and every year I tell myself I’ll spend two hours tops. This year’s media preview at Singapore Expo Hall 3, I walked out four hours later, slightly sweaty, borderline full, and already planning what to revisit when the public weekend rolls around.

If you’re heading down for the public run from 10 to 12 April 2026, here’s your no-fluff guide to what’s worth your time — straight from someone who’s done the lap.

First Stop: Wicker Club — Perfume With a Personality Problem (in the Best Way)

You’ll smell it before you see it. The Wicker Club is a neon-lit booth promoting perfumes and scents, and whoever named their range clearly had zero intention of playing it safe. I’m talking names like Cherry Popper and Toilette de Atas — I’ll let you check out my photos and read the rest of the range yourself. Let’s just say it’s not your grandmother’s fragrance counter. Provocative, funny, and genuinely interesting. Worth a stop even if just for the read.

What is your scent? Be honest

PacificLight’s Cycling Station: Don’t Skip Leg Day Before Coming

PacificLight is the preferred electricity partner for Artbox 2026, and they’ve set up a proper installation to prove it — a giant cycling rig where you pedal to generate power and try to max out the meter within a minute. Ray and I had a go. I managed 75% of the meter before my legs nearly staged a protest. I could barely feel them after.

Give it a go when you’re there. Just, maybe don’t do it right after eating.

Ready, get set, go!

Floor is Lava (I Call it Knee-Breaker)

There’s a game zone where the floor — quite literally — becomes lava. The objective: jump off the red squares and tap the blue ones to score. The green ones are your safe home but if you take too long the ticking clock may run you down. Speed is of the essence. Ray and I looked like two very frantic and lost children for a solid few minutes. I like to think I’m athletic. This game begs to differ. But that’s exactly the fun of it, isn’t it?

Look at that flexibility

Poopee: Real Grass. For Your Pet’s Real Business.

This one genuinely surprised me. Poopee is a local brand promoting its Ecoturf — a pee pad made of actual grass that needs sunlight, water, and occasional light cleaning. If you have a pet at home, I’d say this is worth checking out. It’s the kind of product your dog or cat would probably prefer over the synthetic alternatives. Find them on Instagram and visit their website for more information.

Magic Castle: Card Tricks That Actually Work

Magic Castle sells speciality card decks and trick cards. The booth put on a short performance and, honestly, it was proper fun. If you’re into party magic or just want to be the most entertaining person at your next gathering, have a look. The tricks are accessible, the staff are happy to demo, and it’s the kind of thing that’s more entertaining than you’d expect. Check them out at their Instagram and website.

Mox Monsters: Singapore’s First Blind Box Toy Factory

This one caught me off guard. Mox Monsters is a Singapore-born indie toy brand — actually the country’s first toy factory doing 3D sculpture and injection-moulded toys. Founded by Kenneth back in 2003, they launched their very first blind box figures at Artbox 2026. Each character is inspired by personal stories of resilience and uniquely Singaporean experiences. The designs are genuinely quirky — the kind of thing you pick up and immediately want to know the backstory behind. Very homegrown, very thoughtful. Click here for their Instagram.

Thunderwear: Yes, You Can Change Your Underwear in Public

I’ll be honest — this was not a booth I expected to be charmed by. Thunderwear has a booth with a very specific dare: if you’re brave enough to step into their changing room and switch out your underwear on the spot, you walk away with a fresh pair. Pick your design, step in, come out reborn. And yes — please come out with your pants on.

It’s absurd. It’s very Artbox. I respect it. Want to feel the Thunder in your thighs? ThunderWear Asia awaits.

The Real Reason to Go: Steak + Frites by Sammies

I’ll be upfront — I’m not a foodie. But I’m telling you to try this. Steak + Frites by Sammies. Hot, soft, and generously packed with meat. Pair it with a Sapporo Premium Beer — they do black, white, and a half-half that reminded me of the classic tau huay and chin chow combo you’d find at any good hawker centre. Familiar, comforting, and honestly better than it has any right to be at a festival.

Eat this first. Thank me later.

Yummy!
A good reason to keep your car at home, go green with public transport (Expo MRT) and have a choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Try the Siblings Gelato as dessert. I was too full from my burger or else I would get another serving.

The Bigger Picture

Beyond the booths I’ve called out, Artbox Camp 2026 features over 250 vendors across 7 themed zones — Lifestyle, Entertainment, Workshops & Experiences, Play, Art, Kids, and Youth. There are artworks from more than 40 artists across the region (look out for Sabi Studio from Singapore and Pariwat Studio from Thailand), live performances from Benjamin Kheng, Rayyan Afiq, The Velvet Groove and more, plus an exclusive Wiggle Wiggle pop-up from Korea that’s worth seeing for the merch alone.

If you’ve got kids, Basecamp Adventure (a collaboration between Parklab and Invade) has an indoor playground that’ll keep them properly occupied.

The Dartslive section kept me entertained with Cricket. Abit rusty but still a good shot. Look at that posture.
